Large cast iron fireback

Large cast iron plate with an old appearance, the style of the ornaments is reminiscent of 17th century castings. Dimensions: 63 cm wide by 75 cm high, and 2 cm thick. Decorated with the monogram ihs (iesus hominum salvator, jesus the savior of humanity) topped with a Latin cross. On either side, two fleur-de-lys. Under the monogram, 8-pointed stars, symbol of the nativity of Christ, are represented. Very heavy warning.
