Structure, fluted ceiling cup, and suspension chains in gilded brass. The base is enhanced by a white ceramic sphere with a very fresh floral painted decoration (patterns of roses, tulips, and multicoloured pansies). General condition: Overall beautiful vintage condition. The opaline and ceramic are impeccable, with no chips or cracks. The brass elements show an authentic patina of use with some marks of natural oxidation and localized verdigris (notably on the upper cup of the ceramic, see close-up photos), which attests to its age and adds to its charm.
