Rolling trolley side table on wheels from the 1950s in formica and metal

This trolley on wheels, typical of the 50s and 60s, has very pretty proportions, it is thin and slender with its feet made of a folded metal rod (“eiffel foot”). The trays are made of dark varnished wood imitation formica and are surrounded by black and gold plastic. It required a little work to give it a new life: a screw underneath replaced, its hole filled in beforehand with wood filler. The chipboard was crumbling, at the edges, under the shelves, so I soaked it with a coat of diluted wood glue then I applied a good coat of varnish to stop the crumbling. It still shows various traces of the passage of time: the top tray has scratches and is damaged over 5 cm along one edge. Right next to it, on the black and gold rim, there is a little missing. At the back of the tops, on the same strapping, there is a gap of 1 cm, but this is the case on all furniture of this type, so I assume that this gap is original. Dull veil, rust picketing and some stains on the black paint of the structure. The furniture moves easily, the casters still work well, but the gold metal parts are speckled with rust and the plastic parts are very damaged (large pieces are even missing on 3 of the 4 wheels, the photos show the wheel in the best condition and the one in worst condition). They are easily removed, so they can be replaced (with casters in better condition or even with rubber pads). It measures 75.5 cm wide and 39.5 cm deep at the level of the upper plate. It measures 71.5 cm in height. The width of the encroachment is 40 cm. It must weigh between 8 and 10 kg.
