This lounge chair was designed by Charles & Ray Eames and manufactured by Herman Miller in the United States around 1970. It is a true masterpiece of design. Its iconic deep brown plywooden shell provides an incredibly stylish and comfortable seating experience, while the black leather upholstery adds a touch of elegance and luxury. This lounge chair is the perfect blend of form and function, with its unique design and exceptional comfort. It was originally designed as a modern take on the traditional English Club Chair and was aimed at the high-end market. The chair’s innovative use of materials and attention to detail quickly made it an icon of mid-century modern design. This lounge chair is not just a statement piece, but also a functional and practical one. The seat and backrest are ergonomically designed to provide maximum comfort and support, and the chair’s high-quality construction ensures that it will last for years to come! One of the most iconic pieces of mid-century design. It is labeled underneath the seat, as shown in photos. It remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. There are no damages, only some very minor marks. Structurally excellent. The leather is still really well preserved and deep black, only some folds in the structure of the leather as is normal for a well preserved, used piece. It adds really nicely to it's patina!
