Old painting oil on canvas classical landscape of the early 20th century, dated 1904. Landscape at the edge of a wooded pond with small character on the left bank, a boat on the water in the foreground with a second character. A few houses in the background. A dead wood on the right side. Beautiful execution of the keys by the painter. Soft tones, beautiful light. Dominance of green and blue. Dimensions: 56.5x45 cm. This old painting is in good condition, some gaps and old tears repaired. Reinforced canvas during restoration. It was restored in 1955 as evidenced by the text left by the restorer on the back of the work: "this painting was repaired by r. Dardolet in march 1955. It bore the following inscription upside down: given to lucia on may 8, 1904. V. Darautière (?) [name of painter uncertain])". Neat and well protected shipment.
