Ceramic tea/coffee service Antonio Lampecco

Tea or coffee set in glazed stoneware with a sleek design, signed by Antonio Lampecco, a renowned ceramicist of Tuscan origin based in Belgium. Lampecco (1932 - 2019) made his mark on the history of contemporary ceramics through his work at the Maredsous Abbey workshop, where he worked for over 60 years. His creations, globally recognised, are part of prestigious public collections, including the Louvre Museum, the Mariemont Museum, and the Museum of Fine Arts in Namur. Composition of the set: • 1 teapot with integrated filter (Ø 9 cm X H 19 cm), signed. • 1 milk jug (Ø 5.5 cm X H 7 cm) – small chip on the spout visible in the photos. • 6 cups (Ø 7 cm X H 5 cm) • 1 sugar bowl (Ø 9 cm X H 5.5 cm) + 1 lid for the sugar bowl or teapot. Overall in excellent condition, except for a small chip on the spout of the milk jug (see photo). A rare and complete set, combining functionality and aesthetics, ideal for lovers of contemporary ceramics and Belgian design from the 1970s!
