English desk signed with scrolls 19th century

Beautifully crafted English mahogany desk on wheels, dating from the 19th/very early 20th century. Two large drawers. A fitted tier: small drawer, two pretty glass and brass inkwells, file compartment, pen rest. Writing surface in green leather enhanced with gilding. Two small retractable side trays. The tray is covered with a "curtain" in good working order. Tapered legs and brass casters. Waring & Gillow Liverpool & Paris signature on metal plates inserted in each of the main drawers. > a beautiful and rare piece of English furniture. Height to the top: 77 cm, to the upper part: 87 cm. Width without small trays 84 cm, with 100 cm. Depth 61 cm. Solid, stable, functional, it bears some traces of time (see photos).
