Beautiful handcrafted ceramic bowl, made during the second half of the 20th century. Very fine work of material and glaze, combining natural shades of ochre, bronze brown, and deep green, with unique firing effects. The shape, deliberately organic, along with the turning marks, gives it all the character of a true pottery piece. The underside bears an incised signature in the clay, visible in the photographs. A particularly original decorative piece, which can be displayed alone as art ceramic, a catch-all, or a centrepiece. Its aesthetic fits well in both contemporary interiors and vintage or wabi-sabi decor. Estimated period: second half of the 20th century, to be confirmed. Technique: ceramic / glazed stoneware, raku appearance. Condition: beautiful vintage condition, with irregularities and marks inherent to handcrafted work and firing.
