Teak highboard, Denmark 1960s/70s, vintage, mid-c modern

A beautiful teak highboard chest of drawers was produced in the 1960s and 1970s in denmark. The chest of drawers is finished in teak veneer with beautiful grain and mounted on solid teak legs mounted on a solid, profiled strip. Danish design is characterized by elegant, clean lines, beautiful details in the form of amazing drawer handles, profiled elements and rounded edges. The icing on the cake are the green linings of the drawers and the black glass shelves in the "bar" section. The chest of drawers is divided into 4 segments: on the left there are 4 drawers, in the middle part there are shelves whose height can be adjusted or completely dismantled, and on the right there is a "shoulder" part with a decorative, mirrored background and two black glass shelves. The lower segment is divided into three parts, of which there are two drawers on the left and right, and one, deeper drawer in the middle. The piece of furniture is massive, solid, fully functional, very roomy, and the doors and drawers move easily and smoothly. It has undergone a full renovation process, including cleaning of old coatings, sanding to raw wood, light staining to even out the color, replenishing the veneer and re-protecting it with three layers of hard oil-wax resistant to dirt and water.
