Impressive bronze chandelier from the late 19th century, made around 1880 during the Belle Époque / Fin de siècle. Eclectic style drawing from the ornamental repertoire of the Renaissance, classicism, and baroque. A testament to the taste of the noble and bourgeois elites of the Belle Époque. Western Europe, late 19th century. Gilded and patinated bronze (darkened). Beautiful craftsmanship: careful casting and chiselling. Height: 75 cm. Diameter: 63 cm. Very good antique condition, with slight signs of wear.
