Desk made of solid wood by the cabinetmaker Claude De Moyen. The C. Demoyen Workshop (Claude de Moyen) has made a name for itself as a recognised workshop for producing, among other things, designs by Pierre Chapo. Consequently, their own furniture creations bear the mark of impeccable craftsmanship and the use of top-quality materials. Located in the small French commune of Moncel-lès-Lunéville, the company began its activities around 1976. Their work is distinguished by the primary use of solid wood, expertly constructed using complex joinery techniques. Unique model. The top is made of elm burl (veneered 5 tenths) laid on solid elm. The interior is made of plywood. The wooden parts of the legs are veneered with sliced elm for the outside, and the inside is made of 25 tenths beech. The metal parts are made of brass for the tube and steel for the plate under the table. Finish with linseed oil and veneer glued with vinyl glue.
