Model 157 teak chair by Børge Mogensen for Søborg Møbler, Denmark 1950s

This high-quality side or dining chair was designed by the renowned Danish designer and architect Børge Mogensen. It was manufactured by Søborg Møbler in Denmark during the 1950s. The elegant frame is made of solid teak, showing a characteristic wood grain. Its backrest is made from teak bentwood and the seat is covered with hand-woven paper cord. This iconic Danish modern chair is in very good all original condition.
