Set of six deep plates in earthenware produced by MBFA Pornic, model Wanda, recognisable by its free shape with soft contours and its hand-painted floral decoration. The shades of pink, turquoise, white, and green stand out against a subtly textured grey background, characteristic of the factory's productions. Stamped M.B.F.A. Pornic – Hand-painted – Wanda – France: the Breton Manufacture of Artisan Faïences (MBFA) developed a production of decorative tableware with hand-painted designs inspired by nature and organic forms in the 1970s and 1980s. Diameter 21 cm, height 3.5 cm. In good vintage condition with slight signs of use and a few very small original firing defects, a hairline crack on one of the plates (see photos). The 70s return through beautiful pieces, not through fashion trends.
