Superb and imposing mirror from the Napoléon III era (19th century), measuring 145 cm wide by 187 cm high. This exceptional model stands out for its generous dimensions and its magnificent sculpted and pierced pediment, adorned with floral motifs, foliage, and a central ribbon bow typical of the period. The frame in gilded wood and stucco features very elegant rounded upper corners. At the back, the original raw wood parquet flooring attests to its authenticity and great age. The glass has a very beautiful overall patina. A perfect centerpiece to dress a large fireplace mantel, to be placed on the floor in a living room, or to enhance a majestic entrance. Condition: Beautiful general condition with a magnificent original patina. Some slight signs of wear that add to its historical charm.
