Bronze framed and shaped glass french mid century 3-light lantern with shell and acanthus leaf detail. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, the lantern boasts a frame cast in rich bronze with shell detail. To the bottom of the framework is a acanthus leaf detail finial and to the top is a decorative hanging hoop. The true brilliance of this lantern lies in its carefully designed glass panels. Each panel has been expertly cut to fit perfectly within the bronze frame work. The lantern hangs from a single link chain, bar and acanthus detail ceiling rose.the lantern has its original 2 core wiring and takes 3 small screw in bulbs e14s. The bronze framework is in good vintage condition with marks associated with age it has been cleaned but not polished so you can decide on the finish. The glass is complete with no chips or cracks. The candle drips have some wear around the tops. All of the items we sell are second hand/vintage/antique and used, so please check the photos before purchasing as these form part of the description.
