Set of 4 Dining Chairs by Niels Otto Møller, Denmark, 1960s, Model 78

The iconic model 78 Dining Chair was designed in 1954 by Niels Otto Møller for J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik. This is one of his most famous and widely appreciated designs – Model 78. Crafted from solid wood, these chairs showcase the finest in Scandinavian Mid-Century craftsmanship. The curved backrest provides ergonomic comfort while showcasing the designer’s signature attention to proportion and detail. All wooden elements were gently restored and refinished wth high quality wood oil that not only protects the wood but also brings out the grain depth. The paper cord seats were newly woven using traditional method for this Scandinavian method. With their elegant lines, ergonomic form, and timeless design, these chairs are perfect for any modern or vintage-inspired interior. Stamped with the original manufacturer’s mark and the Danish Furniture Makers Control Label as you may see in the attached pictures, reflecting the care and quality of their production.
