Charles Eames lounge chair Mobibilier International 1994

Genuine lounge chair & ottoman by charles eames from mobilier international. Last edition december 1994 in cherry veneer and black calf leather with foam & feather upholstery. (mobilier International had the eames license for the whole of europe until its closure at the end of 1994) Version xl 90cm between the outside of the arms against 81 on the current reissues. The leather is in very good condition and original, it was mostly in a single use office. Dating from 1994 it is quite recent and in very good condition in cherry veneer (light wood) rare! (because the rosewood of rio is forbidden in 1990) after that it will be only stained wood to remind the colour... Ultra comfortable with a wider and more comfortable seat than the current vitra/ herman miller reissues visible at bhv or cornoran shop. It has been re-varnished with a stamp in 2021 by the international furniture workshops (invoice in support) for a value of 1200€ which attests to its authenticity for those who do not really know the distinctive signs between the different publishing houses. This gives it a new and durable appearance for 20-30 years before being re-varnished as it should be. Visible in Montreuil. To be collected from the ground floor, parking space in the courtyard.
