Overlay vase in white and blue glass paste

Ovoid overlay vase made of navy blue and white glass paste composed of a blue inner layer and a white outer layer. The overlay technique consists of digging with a hot spoon circles in the glass with revealing the inner layer of glass and creating on these circles and on the top edge a two-tone appearance in relief. In very good general condition, a small cooking defect in the glass reveals two small imperfections the size of a lens.
