Floral bowl in earthenware HBCM Montereau

Beautiful antique earthenware salad bowl from Montereau, featuring the characteristic blue floral decoration of this production. It belongs to the HBCM period (Hippolyte Boulenger Creil Montereau), established in 1920 when the Boulenger group took over the earthenware factories of Creil and Montereau. The Montereau factory was renowned for its fine earthenware and table decorations before permanently closing in 1955. I particularly love its blue floral decoration on a white background, which is very elegant and timeless.
