Pair of very large table lamps from the 1960s-70s, designed by einar johansen. The lower part of the lamps is glazed in brown with olive-ochre-yellow accents and decorated with a "v" pattern. The upper part is unglazed and has the natural color of the clay. Model no. 3016, manufactured by søholm stentøj (soholm pottery) on the island of bornholm, denmark. Attributed to einar johansen. Rare. Søholm stentøj, meaning soholm stoneware, was founded in 1835 by herman sonne wolffsen and edvard sonne. By the mid-20th century, søholm produced a wide range of stoneware in a variety of patterns and shapes.
