This elegant bonnetière in cherry wood, made at the end of the 19th century, finely embodies the Louis-Philippe style. Its sober and balanced silhouette, enhanced by a discreetly moulded cornice and inverted heel feet, reflects a refined taste for classic forms without ostentation. The cherry wood offers a warm and nuanced grain, magnified by a waxed finish that reveals the nobility and brilliance of the wood. The full door, composed of four boards arranged in an open book style, opens to a spacious interior, equipped with three adjustable shelves on brackets. The original lock is functional, complete with its key and a heart-shaped entry. This piece of furniture, narrower and less deep than usual, both utilitarian and decorative, will find its place in a bedroom, an office, or an entrance, adding a touch of authenticity and character to your interior. It will appeal to lovers of antique furniture for its craftsmanship and timeless charm. Period: Late 19th century. Excellent condition after restoration in our cabinetmaking workshop.
