Description
Old enamelled advertising sign coca cola of the 50s. The first ancestor recipe of coca-cola, the french wine coca, was invented by john pemberton in 1885. It is an alcoholic beverage made from coca, kola nuts and damiana. Pemberton is said to have been inspired by the recipe for mariani wine, a blend of bordeaux wine and coca leaf created by corsican chemist angelo mariani in 1863. The sale of french wine coca continued until pemberton's death in 1888. The "french wine coca" is presented as an effective remedy more than as a product of gustatory pleasure. Officially, the drink no longer contains cocaine since 1903, but after a surprise check on the product, it turns out that traces of it are still detected after 1929. Scientific research shows that a glass of coca-cola in 1886 contained about nine milligrams of cocaine. Insured shipment.
