Kergulen coat stand design Enzo Mari for Danese Milano 1968

This is the first version of the kergulen coat stand, designed by enzo mari. By means of holes and cuts in a pvc tube, mari has succeeded in creating an object that not only fulfils its function as a coat stand, he uses essential signs to create a modern, multifunctional totem with compartments, shelves and hooks. This object is unique both in its type and in its workmanship and formal result. The object is in good condition, apart from slight signs of wear. The concrete base on the inside of the tube has a small chip.
