Beautiful round ashtray/trinket dish in ceramic from Caltagirone, Sicily. Entirely handmade and painted by the G. Pistone workshop, signed on the back "G. Pistone Caltagirone". Iconic decoration: large yellow flower in the centre, polychrome baroque frieze around the edge in yellow, blue, and aquamarine. Characteristic shiny glaze of Sicilian ceramics. 3 cigarette rests. Perfect as a trinket dish, jewellery bowl, or wall decoration in a Mediterranean kitchen. Traditional Sicilian craftsmanship from the 70s-80s. Dimensions: approx. 11 cm in diameter X 2 cm high. Material: ceramic, glazed earthenware. Colours: yellow, blue, green, white. Style: vintage, Mediterranean, artisanal. Condition: Very good vintage condition.
