Vintage 685 “Tentazione” sofa by Mario Bellini

Rare "tentazione" model designed by mario bellini for cassina, originally in 1973. Made in the 1980s, this vintage two-seater sofa is in good general condition and features high-quality thick cognac-colored leather. The frame is made of steel, the seat and backrest in soft molded polyurethane. The leather, shiny, shows some signs of time, tiny (see photos). This 685 "tentazione" model will then be replaced by an almost similar one at cassina, still designed by bellini: the bambole, with slightly less fitted shapes. Bellini is a major designer of the 20th century. Born in 1935, he is a real jack-of-all-trades, as comfortable in furniture design as in architecture. Seat height: 46 cm.
