The description: A beautiful and large work of art (still life of flowers, oil on canvas) by the belgian painter henri joseph pauwels (1903-1983). Very nicely framed. Signed at the bottom right. Dimensions with frame: 80 cm X 86 cm. The dimensions of the canvas are: 62 cm X 68 cm. The state of the artwork is very good. The work is on display at the martins art dealer in 2018 at the 2nd exloermond (drenthe) and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Info: The belgian painter henri joseph pauwels (haasdonk, 1903 - beveren-waas, 1983) used to paint the landscapes of waasland. Pauwels had a preference for classical landscapes, marines, views of antwerp harbour and interiors. Pauwels painted all this with a slightly impressionistic style.
