OMA Padova Space Age Table Lamp – Italian Design – 1970s

Vintage table lamp with a Space Age design, produced around 1970 by OMA, a small lighting manufacturer based in Padua, Italy. Although the designer is unknown, the style is reminiscent of the creations of Francesco Boccola and Gaetano Missaglia. It is distinguished by its translucent methacrylate shade diffusing a soft light, its internal glass sphere, and its chrome-plated metal base. These materials and rounded shapes are typical of 1970s Italian retro-futurist design. Condition: Good vintage condition—light scratches from use, no cracks or missing parts.
