50s coffee table by Jacques Adnet

Elm, metal, and leather coffee table by French designer Jacques Adnet, a great pioneer of the modernist movement. From the "Furniture for the Country" series, the various compartments of the top, dressed with semicircular leather handles, as well as the removable side bottle holder, highlight Adnet's ingenuity and style. A model from the 1950s, which is among the great classics of design, its warm brown color is enhanced by the saddle-stitched leather. Superb condition.
