Antique oak confiturer renovated – Bicolor style & chic country
I offer you this charming antique jam cabinet (19th century) made of solid oak, fully restored with care in the workshop to give it a modern second life while preserving its rustic authenticity. Restoration work carried out: • Sandblasting and complete fine sanding of the structure to reveal the beautiful natural light shade of raw oak. • Graphic two-tone treatment: the central panel of the door, the front of the drawer, and the top surface have been stained in a deep and elegant black, creating a timeless contrast. • Complete restoration of the top: initially very damaged, it has been entirely redone and stabilized. • Eco-friendly finish: application of a homemade beeswax that deeply nourishes the wood, protects it from daily wear and tear, and gives it a silky touch as well as a sweet scent of yesteryear. The original hardware (long hinge, pull handle, and keyhole) has been cleaned and preserved to maintain its period charm. The door and drawer slide perfectly. Ideal as an accent piece in an entryway, a small buffet in a living room, or a characterful washstand in a bathroom. Unique, healthy, and stable piece of furniture. Hand delivery or shipping via Selency transport service or other.
