Lustre design paper – The Blue Ants – French workshop piece

Suspension design SANGO – Les Fourmis Bleues – Ø65cm. SANGO suspension from the French workshop Les Fourmis Bleues (Elen Boutang, Nantes/Rezé), purchased new in 2013 for €875 including VAT. Design piece in a small series: a sphere with a diameter of 65 cm made up of multiple paper rods fixed by a magnet system on a central globe. Organic effect reminiscent of a sea urchin/dandelion, very graphic once suspended in a space with a high ceiling. Condition: good overall condition, paper slightly yellowed over time but does not detract from the visual effect of the piece. Price: €435 (original invoice available) To be collected on-site in Paris 17th — large and fragile item, not suitable for postal delivery.
