Danish Modular Wall System by Poul Cadovius, 1960s

Danish modular wall system, designed by Poul Cadovius in the 1950s. It’s made of teak wood and designed to be mounted directly to the wall. Such systems became popular in the 1950s and 60s as a lighter and more flexible alternative to traditional bookcases and sideboards. The composition combines floating cabinets, drawers, and open shelves, allowing the layout to be adapted to the space or use over time. The system is structurally sound and in very good condition, but does show some minor wear and tear consistent with its age. Both tall cabinets each have 1 shelf. Please note: there are three shelves available instead of the two shown in the photos.
