Monumental Valenti table lamp with fan palm leaf in bronze and brass, 1970s

This large sculptural table lamp was produced by Valenti in Spain during the 1970s. The design features a stylised fan palm leaf cast in bronze with a textured greenish patina. The bronze plant element is mounted parallel to a polished brass tubular stem, set on a solid circular base of golden brass. Hidden behind the bronze leaf, an adjustable halogen spotlight projects indirect lighting onto the wall, outlining the radial contour of the vegetation. The power cable incorporates an integrated dimmer, allowing continuous modulation of the light output from a soft ambient reflection to full accent lighting. The piece is signed by Valenti. Thanks to its remarkable scale, it functions as a central element on a console, sideboard or pedestal in Mid-Century Modern and Hollywood Regency interiors.
