Shell handles and Parisian sparkle. Superb vintage silver-plated champagne bucket or cooler, a piece of fine quality by the famous French silversmith Christofle from Paris. This model is called Ormesson, featuring simple lines, a footed base, and two beautiful shell handles, a lovely post-Art Deco design dating from around 1950. Made in France and bearing the complete hallmarks, this vintage item is in good condition, with a substantial weight, showing only slight signs of use, and a small dent at the bottom. Highlighted by graceful scalloped decorations on the handles, this cooler will be polished before delivery.
