Midcentury buoy ashtray: round boat buoy shape, rounded rim with raised braided cord; interior decorated with a raised motif of a lighthouse & sailing ship. In earthenware with a burgundy red glaze, 4 gilded cigarette holders (gilding partially erased, some very small enamel chips, see photos). Stamp of the french manufacturer verceram 1950' / 1960'.
