Large vintage Italian vase in Empoli style, blue and white opaline glass, 31 cm.

Very beautiful large vintage blown glass vase, in a stunning turquoise blue shade with an opaline white interior. The piece features particularly interesting craftsmanship with thick, heavy glass, a decoration achieved by layering the glass, and a clear base visible at the bottom. Its shape, manufacturing technique, and colours strongly evoke the Italian productions from the Empoli region of the 1960s-1970s. Attribution is given as a guideline in the absence of a signature or original label. Very beautiful baluster shape with a widely flared neck. The blue colour displays lovely nuances, more intense towards the base. A very beautiful piece of decorative glassware, ideal for a vintage, Mid-Century, contemporary, or colourful interior.
