Important Art Nouveau buffet display cabinet with putti, circa 1900. Important dining room buffet display cabinet in Art Nouveau style, made in the early 20th century. This high-quality piece features the characteristic flowing architecture of Art Nouveau, enhanced by curved side display cabinets, glass doors decorated with enamelled floral motifs, and rich patinated bronze ornamentation. The façade is highlighted by friezes of stylised roses, while two elegant putti in relief frame the central section. The upper part opens with four glass doors and offers ample display space. The centre is fitted with a niche with a mirrored back, topped with a green marble shelf. The lower part opens with four doors and two drawers. The rounded side display cabinets add a sense of lightness to the whole. The piece retains its locks and several old keys. The decorated glassware is original. With its generous dimensions, rich decoration, and quality craftsmanship, this buffet is a remarkable testament to French furniture from the Belle Époque. Period: circa 1900-1910. Style: Art Nouveau.
