Old scourge scale

Very nice vintage decoration, this scourge scale consists of a horizontal arm and two bowls suspended from 3 chains each. The swing axis is equipped with a hook to be easily hooked. In the centre of the pendulum, the needle can move from right to left depending on the weigh-in. ⁣ Natural time marks visible in the photos... And so much charm! ⁣ 💡 inherited from antiquity, scourge scales are the simplest to achieve. Usually, one of the bowls was placed the load and in the other a counterweight.
