The french house brot is renowned for its exceptional mirrors. The triptych mirror was invented in 1875 by la maison brot and the model proposed here is a free-standing model, adjustable and backlit. Most mirophar brot triptych mirrors hang on the wall unlike this one. The structure is made of chrome-plated brass whose manufacturing quality is visible in all its details. Integrated lighting on the central mirror through a magnifying glass provides a light that is soft to the eye and beautiful to the complexion. The 3 panels are orientable. The central mirror rotates from bottom to top. Signed on the back "mirophar brot", it is of french manufacture and patented sgdg. The electricity has been completely redone: replacement of the bayonet socket, the electric wire and the electrical outlet. The electric wire is made of twisted black fabric. The foot is weighted with cast iron, which ensures perfect stability even when the mirror is unfolded. In superb general condition and with great charm, it has signs of time including some stitching on the chrome as well as on the mirrors and very slight traces of sinking on the foot not very visible (see photos). Mirrors are not scratched. A rare piece! Height: 50 cm. Width (mirrors extended): 76 cm. Width (folded mirrors): 29 cm. Diameter of mirrors: 24 cm. Foot diameter: 15 cm. Weight: 7.4 kg.
