Oval Rolling Table in Brass and Mahogany with Openwork Gallery and Bottle Holder

This oval serving table combines a structure in gilded brass with turned mahogany baluster legs, topped with pine cone finials. The upper top, lined with a mirrored base, is surrounded by an openwork gallery with ovate patterns and features a side carrying handle and a central grip; the lower top in varnished mahogany, also encircled by a gallery, holds a brass bottle holder with three rings. The entire piece rolls on four small casters. This type of bar trolley, blending chiselled brass, precious wood, and pine cone finials, is characteristic of the production of the Baguès House, a Parisian reference for gilded bronze and brass since the 19th century, whose neoclassical flying furniture is highly sought after.
