Sculptural lamp, Guiseppe Calonaci, 1971, Italian

A rare sculptural floor/table lamp, made in 1971 by italian artist guiseppe calonaci. The lamp consists of a plexiglass base holding several curved aluminum sheets. The position of these sheets can be changed by using the small metal cubes and repositioning them in different holes. The production of this lamp was limited to 300 pieces, of which here is the n. 57, making it a rare piece. The lamp is signed by the artist and remains in its original vintage condition. It has few normal wear marks for its age and use.
