Framed botanical print of Fragaria Grandiflora

Botanical engraving, print, Fragaria Grandiflora set under glass and framed in a magnificent wooden frame with a golden rose decoration. Drawing by Carlos von Riefel, an Austrian botanical artist specialising in the painting of fruits and flowers. Vintage engraving sold as is. While the cream-coloured background shows some marks, the colours of the strawberries and foliage are vibrant. The frame, also of the period, has some marks and/or cracks related to its age.
