Vintage art-populaire brutalist fruit cup in solid wood carved with gouge

The cut is in very good condition. It is patinated, but very healthy. It was entirely carved from a single piece of wood, with a gouge, by some skilled handyman, probably in the first half of the twentieth century. It is a very beautiful object of folk art, remarkable for its format, and the grace of its lines. Very beautiful raw appearance, the object is touching by its authenticity.
