Kaj franck flatware / cutlery “scandia” pattern, finnish design 1952 for hackman finland, all pieces marked hackman finland 18/8. Five place settings with 6 individual items: 5 dinner forks 7” = 18 cm. 5 dinner knives 7¼" = 18.5 cm. 5 dinner spoons 7¼" = 18.5 cm. 5 dessert or toast knives 6¾“ = 17 cm. 5 dessert or appetizer forks 6½“ = 16.3 cm. 5 dessert or appetizer spoons 6½“ = 16.3 cm. 30 pieces in total, hallmarked “hackman finland 18/8”, made to the highest standard of quality. Good vintage condition; all pieces are estate, previously owned and not brand new, used over the years, so they can have some minor imperfections from age or use/dishwashing/handling, such as surface scratches. Please note that this is the original flatware, as designed by kaj franck in 1952, and in production till 1998. Scandia was redesigned by iittala after 1998 but the new flatware can no longer be called an original kaj franck design.
