Christofle – 12 Arceau knife rests, Luc Lanel, silver-plated metal Art Deco

Set of twelve Christofle knife rests model Arceau (1937), artistic direction Luc Lanel. Silver-plated metal with fluted arches. The bar carries, near one of the arches, the square hallmark of Christofle silver-plated metal, a chess knight between the letters O and C, in use since 1935, accompanied by the name CHRISTOFLE in a cartouche. The set, complete with its twelve pieces, is in very good condition; the silver plating shows only minimal surface wear.
