A beautiful tea/coffee trio produced between 1948 and 1950 by Linding Porzellan in Bavaria, Germany. Presented in an eye-catching blue and gold geometric pattern, this charming trio is a fine example of the transition between Art Deco and mid-century modernism in the early post-war years. This lovely trio is in good vintage condition, with no chips, cracks, or crazing. Some of the pattern shows wear in places, but I don't know if this is due to age or a manufacturing defect. In any case, it doesn't detract from the beauty of the pieces. The cup, white on the outside with a gold band around the base, is approximately 5.5 cm tall and 10.5 cm in diameter. The saucer is 15 cm in diameter, and the plate is 19 cm in diameter. The set weighs 460 g without packaging. A delightful tea/coffee trio to enjoy yourself or give as a gift.
