Romantic Louis XV style screen

4-leaf screen in rocaille/Louis XV style ash wood, representing the 4 seasons for each shutter. Romantic oils on canvas decorated with romantic scenes with couples of characters in landscapes for each season. Circa 1890. The whole is held together by new metal hinges. Dimensions of the fully deployed and flat screen: l 217 x h 154 x d 5 cm, the other dimensions mentioned in the section are those of the folded screen. Note that there are a few holes in the screen canvases (see the photos), otherwise the wooden frame is in very good condition. The whole thing is in fairly good condition.
