Rosewood and Rosewood Serving Table, Art Deco – 1920

This serving table opens with a drawer with a finely crafted lens button. The belt is inlaid with rosewood and rosewood chevrons highlighted by a lemon tree fillet. The circular top also has a cube pattern marquetry with lemon tree fillet and is surrounded by an openwork brass gallery. The spindle feet end in small brass sabots. This base is joined in the lower part by an identical spacer shelf also inlaid in the sun spirit.
