Vintage mid-century office chair from the 60s and 70s, space age style.

Swivel office chair adjustable in height from the 60s/70s (mid-century, modernist, space age), perfectly fitting within the lineage of German modernist creations by designer Egon Eiermann for Wilde + Spieth. A character piece, robust and very elegant. Enveloping seat in original dark brown faux leather in good used condition. See photos. The faux leather has retained its flexibility and is not cracking. The seat rests on a solid 5-star chrome base mounted on wheels in perfect working condition. Height adjustment system assisted by a gas lift (allows for effortless raising and lowering). Firm mechanical locking at the desired height by tightening the lever under the seat. Very good overall vintage condition. Clean and shiny chrome, well-preserved faux leather. Structure under the seat made of thermoformed wood. High-end chair similar to Wild&Spieth productions, particularly regarding the 5-star base and the gas lift adjustment system.
