French Art Nouveau candlestick

Gorgeous french art nouveau candlestick. It is a perfect example of that wonderful french era, with its sinuous and organic curves. The handle is extraordinarily elegant. I'm not sure about the material, it could be tin in appearance, but this metal is softer, I think. It could also be an early pewter. It is in very good vintage condition, the surface is worn, as if it had a coating of something silver that had been worn by use, zoom in on the photos to see it in detail. The candlestick measures 26 cm wide, 13 cm deep and 6 cm high.
