Aluminum and glass pendant light by Vitrika. Denmark 1970s

Height: 25 centimeters. Width: 40 centimeters. Depth: 40 centimeters. Description. A very functional and decorative pendant light from danish producer vitrika. The three brass rings project light along the outside of the underlaying one. The bottom is covered with a heavy hand made glass diffuser that spread the light wide downwards without glare. Good condition with a few dings on the top ring as seen in the imagers. Standard e27 light bulb socket. Vitrika was a lamp manufacturer with a very large repertoire. There is very little information available about the company, but it was started in the late 1940s by three young men, a salesman, a designer and a craftsman, the slogan was vi-tre-kan (we-three-can), hence the name vitrika. The company was active between 1948 to 1992.
